Johnnie Ruth Dotson, 77, died Aug. 1, at Promise Hospital/River Region in Vicksburg. Mrs. Dotson was a resident of Port Gibson.

Visitation will be 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. Friday at Rollins Funeral Home, Port Gibson. The funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, will be held at Awesome Christ Warriors Outreach Tabernacle, 2064 Lorman Road, Port Gibson. Burial will follow in MCCAA Cemetery, Lorman.

Mrs. Dotson is survived by a son, Joe Clark, Sr. (Gloria), Port Gibson; daughters, Virginia Dotson and Brenda (Michael) Chambers, Port Gibson, and Terrie (Sedrick) Jones, Vicksburg; brothers, Elvin Clark (Addie), Vicksburg, Julius (Erma) Clark, Port Gibson, and Ellis Roy Clark, Lorman; a sister, Annie Mae Clark, Lorman; sisters-in-law, Bertha Dotson, Port Gibson, and Irene Brown, Vicksburg; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
