Murder suspect indicted in March killing on Field Street

A Vicksburg man has been indicted in the March murder of another man during an argument on Feld Street.
Darrion Keenan Truly, 22, 4722 Roberta Circle, is charged with murder in the March 21 shooting death of Richard Albert Sr.
According to police reports, officers responding to a report of shots fired on Feld Street arrived to find Albert lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. Paramedics attempted to revive Albert, but were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by coroner Doug Huskey.
In another case, James Jeffrey McBroom, 58, No. 5 Hayfield Road, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault in the Feb. 21 shooting of Billy Joe Harrison, 64. McBroom is accused of shooting Harrison in the parking lot of the Klondyke, 100 North Washington St., after an argument inside the restaurant.
Other indictments handed down included:
• Dawn Winfield Dillon, 36, 242 Bazinski Road, two counts of shooting into a dwelling. She is accused of twice firing a gun into an apartment at 1790 Fisher Ferry Road on Jan. 30.
• Bershard Devaun Brooks, 20, 43 Randle St., and Devon Stellios Crim, 43, 132 Meadowbrook Drive, were indicted on charges of non-residential burglary and arson in the Feb. 19 break-in of Warren Central High School. The men are accused of disabling the school alarm system and trying to burn video surveillance equipment.
• Charles Raynell Carter, 22, 2631 John West Road, Dallas, Texas, and Lamar Dequion Harris, 39, 710 Morris Drive, Garland, Texas, are charged with attempting to purchase an all-terrain vehicle with forged credit card.
