To the editor:

For over ten years, the Vicksburg Lions Club has participated in Belk’s Charity Sales.  We want to thank Belk’s management and employees for their tireless efforts to help us raise funds that benefit various community projects and for their generosity and involvement in making our community a better place to live.

We also want to praise the manager, Mr. Danny Cooke, and coordinator, Ms. Trina Carson, for always finding improvements in the procedures that accompany the Charity Sale, and for allowing local service, school, and church groups to participate.
