BILOXI, Miss. (AP) — Computer problems at the Mississippi Department of Human Services have delayed some child support payments across the state.

Parents tell WLOX-TV that they started having problems last week. One father says he made his payment on time, but the scheduled payment to his children was never completed.

Human Services spokeswoman Lynne Myers said Wednesday that the department is working to correct a computer “glitch” and hopes to complete payments soon.

Myers didn’t say how many child support payments were delayed or when the problem began.
