Bernice Presley

Ms. Bernice Presley was born in Sparkman, Arkansas, Nov. 10, 1935, and left this earthly home Sept. 21, 2018. She lived in Vicksburg, and was an active member at Southside Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, seamstress, upholsterer and a friend to all.
Ms. Presley was preceded in death by her parents, Ware and Verna Hopper; her husband, Riley Presley; and a brother, W. L. Hopper.
She is survived by three sons: David Jackson (Lynn), Cartersville, Georgia; Jeff Jackson (Lyn), Benton, Arkansas; Tony Jackson (Amy), Vicksburg; one daughter Deborah Brown (Philip), Vicksburg; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters: Glenda Fleming, Sparkman, Arkansas; Joyce Ann Hamm, Dover, New Hampshire; Dorothy Kettle, Fordyce, Arkansas; two brothers: Raymond Hopper, Arkadelphia, Arkansas; and Travis Hopper (Janice), Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Riles Funeral Home. There will be a private family burial at 9 a.m., Sept. 26, at Cedar Hill Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of her life at 11 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church.
