Funeral services for Ethel Mae Johnson will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Triumph Church with the Rev. Kelvin Rankin officiating.

Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m.

Ms. Johnson passed away Friday, Sept. 28, at Hospice Ministries following a brief illness.  She was 82. She was retired as a nurse’s assistant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommie Nailor and Mamie Bight; and her brother, Lee Nailor.

She is survived by her sons, Ellis Johnson of Jackson, Keith Johnson and Karl Johnson, both of Houston, Texas; her daughters, Caroline Ruth Johnson, Audrey Johnson, Thelma Johnson and Cynthia Harris, all of Vicksburg; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
