Funeral services for Thomas Gerald Taylor will be Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Greater Grove Street 2715 Alcorn Drive. Mr. Taylor will lie in repose at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 4, at Greater Zion Baptist Church in Utica, MS 7521 Hwy 27 from 5-7 p.m. with family present.

Mr. Taylor died Nov. 1, 2018, at a private facility in Ridgeland. He was 57.

He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Larkale (Robert) Jackson and Jasmine Franklin; one son, Thomas Gerald Taylor Jr.; two grandsons, Tyler Stokes and Ethan Jackson; his father, Sharkey Fisher; five brothers, L.C. Taylor, David Taylor, Kerry Taylor, the Rev. Casey (Michele) Fisher and Sharkey Wendell (Toni) Fisher; one sister, Jannifer (Marshall) Banks; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
