The potential for severe weather in the Warren County area is possible overnight Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

A line of storms is expected to become organized during the early morning hours in the vicinity of the Mississippi River and will move east through much of Mississippi. According to the National Weather Service, damaging winds, hail of at least quarter size and tornadoes will be possible with this line through Saturday morning.

The line of storms is expected to be in the Warren County area around 2 a.m. Saturday morning. Temperatures will be dropping throughout the day Saturday as the cold front moves through with low temperatures expected to be around freezing Saturday night.
