Mary Inez Lee

Mrs. Mary Inez Lee passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 2019. She was 97 years old.

Mrs. Lee was born in Brownsville, Tennessee, and had lived in Edwards, for the past 80 years. She was a member of the Edwards United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Tyler Lee; daughter, Georgie Alice Lee; father, Alfred Henry Lee and mother, May Blackwell Lee; sister, Lena Mae Lee; brothers, Charlie Lee, Frank Lee and Curt Lee.

She is survived by her daughters, Camille Lee, Cecille Gove (Brian); sister, Martha Caldwell; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, at Glenwood Funeral Home. Services were 11 a.m. Saturday at Edwards United Methodist Church with Rev. Libby Piazza officiating. Burial followed in Edwards Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tom Lee, Buddy Lee, Todd Brown, Ed Pace, David Hamilton and Mike Ratliff. Honorary pallbearers were Lee Pennebaker, Brooke Worrell, Charles Anderson, Paul Vanderberry and Gary House.

The family wishes to thank Edwards United Methodist Church, Merit Health Central, St. Dominic’s Hospital, Compassus Home Hospice and Golden Miles Home Services for their care and support during her short illness.
