Vicksburg Warren Schools will be closed Tuesday

All schools within the Vicksburg Warren School District, as well as the district offices, will be closed Tuesday due to the expected inclement weather later Monday night and into Tuesday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Warren County and current estimates are for 1.6 inches of snow. These estimates are difficult to predict and could change depending on weather conditions.

It is expected that all schools will reopen on Wednesday, on a regular schedule.

As of 3:30 p.m., Porters Chapel Academy had not made a decision if school will be in session Tuesday, while Vicksburg Catholic Schools will make a decision at 5:30 Tuesday morning.
