Virginia Lucille Wedgeworth Weaver

Virginia Lucille Wedgeworth Weaver, born on July 19, 1942, in Vicksburg, passed away on Monday, Feb. 11, 2019. She was 76.
Virginia was a graduate of H.V. Cooper High School, Class of 1960, and was a lifelong member of Crawford St. United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gates Wedgeworth and her mother, Stella Wedgeworth; one sister, Caroline Posey.
Virginia is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donny J. Weaver; her children, Gates Weaver (Candace), Ginger Donohue (Bob); grandchildren, Daniel Donohue V (Katie), Virginia Leigh Donohue, Morgan Sumner; one sister, Stella Ruth Rice (Joe).
The love for her family and God knew no bounds. Virginia loved working in her yard and being surrounded by her flowers, bushes and birds.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 15, at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Geoffrey Joyner officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
Pallbearers will be Robert Daniel Donohue V, Mark Stevens, Jordan Watson, Rusty Fuller, Will Pace and T.J. Brocato. Honorary pallbearers will be Morgan Sumner, Grady Edwards, Terrence DeFrance, David Cotton, Martin Pace, Dr. Thomas Sligh, Dr. John Ford, Dr. Charles Marascalco, Greg Johnson and Thomas J. Carr.
