Funeral services have been scheduled for recording artist Darrell Henderson on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at noon at Zion Travelers Church, 1701 Poplar Street. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019, from 1-7 p.m. at C J Williams Mortuary Services, 4310 Halls Ferry Rd. Darrell will lie in repose from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.

There will be a gospel quartet musical at First Color M.B. Church in Tallulah, honoring Darrell on Monday, March 4, 2019, at 7 p.m., with many gospel artists scheduled to perform. Darrell was one of the lead vocalists for The Singing Disciples, but throughout his gospel career he sang with numerous gospel groups and performed with many renowned gospel quartet groups from around the country.

He was gainfully employed with Terminix in Vicksburg until he became ill. He was a faithfully member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Lisa Henderson; four daughters, Ashanti Henderson, Zykia M. Henderson, Diara Henderson, Raven Henderson; three sons, Derrick A. Walls Jr., Harold Knight, Raheim (Shondell) Davis; one sister, Jongala L. Henderson; nine grandchildren, many relatives and friends.
