Funeral services for Danny Ray Cole Sr. will be held Saturday, April 20, at Calvary M. B. Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Adrian Clark officiating.

Interment shall follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home. 

Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Cole  passed away Tuesday, April 9, in Las Vegas, Nevada, following a lengthy illness.  He was 61.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Moore; his mother, Hattie Mae Fitzgerald Cole; his brother, Julius Cole; and his sisters, Mary E. Cole and Albena Moore Nailor

He is survived by his son, Danny Ray Cole Jr. of Vicksburg; his four daughters, Daniyel Waites, Mary Cole Rather, Phebe Cole Sanders and Sherry Cole Merrill, all of Vicksburg; his three brothers, Willie C. Cole of Jackson, Michael Cole of Nashville, Tennessee, and James Cole of Lufkin, Texas; his two sisters, Mattie M. Cole and Bobbie A. Cole, both of Vicksburg.
