Lance says notes making bomb threats were found Wednesday in bathrooms at Strayhorn Elementary and Strayhorn High School. A third bomb threat was made against the high school on Thursday. The two schools share a campus in rural western Tate County.

The sheriff says investigators believe the 13-year-old left the note in the elementary bathroom, while the 17-year-old made both the threats against the high school.

Lance says he’s limited on the information he can release because the cases are being handled in youth court.
