Frank George Hayes Jr., a lifelong resident of Vicksburg, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019, at his home. He was 76.

He was the son of Frank G. Hayes Sr. and Mary Lou Hayes.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.  Frank was a retired commercial fisherman. 

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Betty Hayes; three sons, Billy Joe Hayes Sr., Frank Jacob Hayes (Jeanene) and Rusty Lee Hayes; two daughters, Margret Dickinson (Duck) and Polly Gardner (Joseph); 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roger Hayes and Leon Hayes; four sisters, Holly Kuhn, Mary Dobbs-Jordan, Mary Wooten and Cheryl Littlejohn; numerous nieces and nephews and many special children who called him “Paw Paw.” 

Visitation will be from 9 until 10:15 a.m. Saturday, June 29, at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Hayes Sr., Billy Joe Hayes Jr., Homer Lenoir, Cody Merritt, Steven Moore and James Davidson.
