Funeral services for Ronnie Tyrone Walker will be noon Monday, July 22, at Greater Grove Street M.B. Church with the Rev. Johnnie Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home, from 6 to 7 p.m. with the family present.

Mr. Walker passed away Tuesday, July 16, at Forest Hill Nursing Home following  a after a brief illness. He was 58.

He had worked as an engineer for Boeing Aircraft and also as a private consultant. He had been a member of the Locust Grove M. B. Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert M. and Annie Mae Weeks Walker Sr.; and his brother Patrick Walker.

He is survived by his six brothers, Robert M. Walker Jr. and Joseph E. Walker, both of Byram; Phillip L. Walker of Jackson; Rudolph Walker and Randolph Walker, both of Vicksburg,; and Michael L. Walker of Clinton; his four sisters, Eunice W. Reddick, Mary Walker Anderson and Patricia Walker Daniel, all of Vicksburg; and Debra Walker Williams of Jackson.
