Celebration of Life has been scheduled for John Samuel Meekins Monday, July 22, 2019, at St. Mary Catholic Church at 10 a.m.

Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Rosary starting at 6 p.m. at C.J. Williams Mortuary Services.

Mr. Meekins was a graduate of Moorehouse College in Atlanta, Ga., and was gainfully employed by General Motors until he retired.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories two sons, Juan (LaMesha) Daniels, John (Tameisha) Meekins Jr.; one daughter, Janine Meekins; two sisters, Magnoria Meekins Smothers and Ruth (Harrison) Meekins Lowe; 12 grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.
