Teams from the Vicksburg Country Club and Clear Creek Golf Course competed in the 2019 Warren County Cup Saturday and Sunday at Clear Creek Golf Course in Bovina.
The Warren County Cup is a two-day, Ryder Cup style event pitting the best from the county’s private and public golf courses.
Clear Creek won the Four-ball round, 4 1/2 to 3 1/2, on Saturday, but the VCC squad rallied to win the Alternate Shot round 6-2.
On Sunday, the Country Club team won 9 1/2 of a possible 16 points in the match play round to win the competition 19-13 and claim the Cup for the third time in four years.
