Thomas Patrick “Pat” Ring died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, at the age of 73.

Pat was a native of Meridian and had been a resident of Vicksburg since childhood. He was the son of the late John Owen Ring Sr. and Mary Gertrude Piazza Ring. He was a graduate of St. Aloysius High School and the University of Southern Mississippi. He was a retired realtor and former auditor for Exxon Corporation.

Pat was a member of Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, Vicksburg-Warren County Board of Realtors, and numerous hunting clubs. Pat was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Roblyn Wells Ring; his son, Thomas Patrick Ring II (Valerie) of Vicksburg; his daughter, Erin Ring of Vicksburg; two brothers, John Owen Ring, Jr. (Lin) of Nicholson, Ga. and Charles O. Ring Sr. (Jeannette) of Vicksburg; a sister, Cathy Ring Powell (Lanz) of Chattanooga, Tenn.; his granddaughter, Gabrielle Grace “Gigi” Ring; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, 2019, at Riles Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.

Interment will follow at Yokena Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Knox, Richard Hanks, Calvin Hearn, Charles O. Ring Jr., John Kirk Ring and Michael W. Ring.
