Celebration of Life has been scheduled for Willie Jean Grissom Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020, at Total Praise Ministries, 2009 Drummond St., at 1 p.m.

Mrs. Grissom will lie in repose at the church from noon until the hour of service. Visitation will be at C J Williams Mortuary Services Feb. 21, 2020, from 1 to 7 p.m. with family present from 5 to 7 p.m.

Mrs. Grissom accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at a very early age and was a faithful member of Total Praise Ministries.

She was employed at Warren Yazoo Mental Health as a cook for over 20 years. She transitioned on Feb. 10 at the age of 80.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories 10 children, Marsha (LC) Jenkins, Elinor “LOLO” (Richard) Jackson, Sylvia Jackson, Josie (Earl) Cosey, Michael (Lykeisha) Hunt, Kimberly (Glennis) Knight, Andrea (Jermaine) Mason, Gregory (Terri) Mason, Derrick (Cassandra) Jackson and Adrian (Princess) Grissom; three sisters, Eula Conway, Gloria (Darrell) Polite and Miranda Jackson; four brothers, Willie Howard (Becky) Jackson, Roy (Edna) Jackson, Leroy Hall and Joseph Hall; a host of other family members and friends. Mrs. Grissom’s final resting place will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
