Services for Mildred “Mil” Killen will be Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at 11 a.m. from Rocky Hill Church of God with the Rev. Guy McGarrity and Rev. Brett Cooper officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 until the time of service at the church.

McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Killen, 85, of Hattiesburg, died Monday, June 29, 2020, at Alden Pointe in Hattiesburg.

A native of the Dixon Community in Neshoba County, she moved to Vicksburg early in life where she lived most of her adult life.  She was a resident of Hattiesburg for the past four years.  She worked for South Central Bell Telephone Company and Midland Shirt Factory for a few years before settling down with her family and becoming a homemaker.   Mrs. Killen was a member of Rocky Hill Church of God in Sebastopol.

Survivors include daughter, Melissa “Missy” Wallace (Bobby) of Vicksburg; son, Michael Edward Killen (Debbie) of Hattiesburg; grandchildren, Beau Wallace, Baylee Wallace, Ivy Killen, Isabel Killen; great-grandchild, Brayden Pickering; sisters, Polly Pharr of Flora and Jane Chancy of Little Rock; brothers, Mike Watkins of Jackson and Sam Watkins of Pelahatchie; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Killen was preceded in death by her husband, Edward C. Killen; parents, Hayward and Euna Watkins; sister, Peggy Watkins; and brother, Bud Watkins.
