Tonight, I am signing the bill to retire the 1894 Mississippi flag and begin the process of selecting a new one—emblazoned with the words “In God We Trust.” This is not a political moment, it is a solemn occasion to come together as a Mississippi family, reconcile, and move forward together. Now, more than ever, we must lean on our faith, put our divisions behind us, and unite for a greater good.

Tim Reeves, and his wife Stephanie, are the parents of three children, Sarah Cameron, Clayton and Fin, who all attend school in the Vicksburg Warren School District. The family are members of First Baptist Church Vicksburg. Tim is involved in a number of civic and volunteer organizations including the United Way of West Central Mississippi and serves on the City of Vicksburg's Riverfront Redevelopment Committee.
