Vicksburg’s tourism industry got a boost Wednesday with the reopening of the popular Old Depot Museum on Levee Street.
The museum announced it will be open Wednesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., until further notice. It is putting in place guidelines from the Centers of Disease Control to ensure the safety of both the museum staff and its visitors as the COVID-19 pandemic persists.
The museum will not be open this Saturday, as it is closed for the Fourth of July holiday.
Face masks are required. For those who do not have a mask, they will be available for a $1 donation. Hand sanitizer will also be available.
Group tours are also available by appointment only.
For more information, call the museum at 601-638-6500 during business hours.
