MAIS fishing tournament
The Mid-South Association of Independent Schools will conduct its July Slam Fishing Tournament beginning July 3 and continuing through July 31.

The tournament is open to all students at MAIS member schools, and there is a $10 entry fee. It is a virtual tournament, where anglers fish at their own pace and locations throughout July and submit results through the Fishing Chaos app. The app is available at the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or at app.fishingchaos.com.

Fishermen may submit catches of bass, freshwater catfish or bream. Prizes will be awarded for the lunker fish of each species and aggregate length of the five largest fish per angler. The fish must be fresh and visibly alive when photographed for submission. Participants are encouraged to practice catch, photo and release.
Complete rules are available on the app’s web site, or at MSAIS.org.
