Funeral services for Len Byrd Williams Sr. are to be held on Friday, July 31, 2020, at 2 p.m. in the Vicksburg City Auditorium with the Rev. Rhagi White officiating. Interment shall follow under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held Thursday, July 30, 2020, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home with social guidelines strictly observed.

Len B. Williams Sr. went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 26, 2020, surrounded by the love of his family at Merit Health River Region following a brief illness. He was born March 4, 1937, the youngest child of Estella Walker and Anthony Williams.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Josie B. Jackson and Ernestine Walker; his brothers, Richard E. McWilliams, Woodrow W. McWilliams Jr.; his nieces, Estella Mickey Burns; and his nephews, Calvin Brown, Willie A. Smith and Charlie Jackson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Valor McWilliams Williams of Vicksburg; his son Len Byrd Williams Jr. of Madison; his daughter-in-law, Keshia Williams; grandsons, Len Byrd Williams III and Reid A. Williams; granddaughter, Kaylen N. Williams; and his sisters, Brenda McWilliams and Beulah Dillon.
