Funeral services for Allen Oliver will be Sunday, Aug. 2, 2020, at City Auditorium at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Johnny Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020, from 6 to 7 p.m. with social distancing guidelines strictly observed.

Allen Oliver passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at Merit Health River Region following a brief illness. He was 42. He worked for the Warren County Road Department and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Bobbie Jean Johnson Oliver Sr.; his brothers Terry Oliver and Darrell Oliver; sisters, Lavern D. Oliver and Tammy E. Oliver; his maternal grandparents, Purnell and Alice Johnson Sr.; and paternal grandparents, Blanchard and Georgia Oliver.

He is survived by his three sons, Allen Oliver Jr., Brandon Oliver Jr. and Randy Clark, all of Vicksburg; his daughter, Kaniaha Oliver of Vicksburg; his two sisters, Beatrice G. Oliver and Lisa M. Oliver both of Vicksburg; and the Johnson family of Vicksburg.
