Cecile Jordan passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at her home at the age of 64. She was born in Vicksburg on Oct. 23, 1955, the daughter of the late John Cecil Carlisle and Mattie Mae Johnson Carlisle.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Coleman Jordan, Jr.; son, Steven Chase Sones; daughters, Glynnis Alford (Ken) and Allison Sones; brothers, John Carlisle (Pat), Steven Carlisle (Pat) and Tommy Carlisle; grandchildren, Miranda Jordan, Elizabeth Jordan and Emily Alford.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Redbone Methodist Church Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home. Rev. David Samuels will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Mike Stevens, James Gill, Pat Baker, James Hancock and Marcus Davis.
