Funeral services for Steven Deryle Brown are to be held Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, at 10 a.m. at Vicksburg City Auditorium with the Rev. Ray Coleman officiating. Interment shall follow in the White Chapel Cemetery in Hermanville under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home. 

There will be a visitation held Friday, Sept. 11, 2020, in the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. with social guidelines strictly observed and facial coverings must be worn inside the building.

Steven Deryle Brown passed away suddenly Friday, Sept. 4, 2020. He was 42. He was a painter/blaster for Big River Ship Builders and a member of Mount Olive M.B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Jackson Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Brown of Hermanville; his four sons, De’Aries K Brown, Markese B. Brown, Ste’ Phon J. Brown and Jaden O. Brown all of Hermanville, his father, Johnny Brown of Hermanville; his brother, Johnny L. Brown of Dallas, Texas; his four sisters Tasha Carpenter of Chicago, Alicia Reed of Vicksburg, Shkisha Wildee of Terry, LaSonda Brown of Hazelhurst; his maternal grandmother, Edith Jackson Bailey of Vicksburg; and a grandson, KeMarrion Brown; and a host of nieces nephews cousins and others.
