Crime reports: Man arrives at hospital with gunshot wound

A Vicksburg man is recovering from a gunshot wound he received sometime early Saturday.
Early Saturday morning, just after 3 a.m., officers were called to Merit Health River Region in reference to a victim who arrived with a gunshot wound to his left side that was non-life-threatening. The shooting reportedly took place on Second North Street and Clay Street.
Department officials said the investigation is ongoing and that investigators are following-up on leads.
In other reports:
• On Saturday, at 12:39 p.m. officers responded to Jordan’s Boutique, 3505 Pemberton Square Blvd., in reference to a shoplifting. The victim reported two females grabbed several pairs of jeans and ran out of the store.
• On Sunday, at 5:05 p.m., officers responded to Shoney’s Restaurant, 3316 Pemberton Square Blvd., in reference to a business burglary. The complainant reported someone forced their way through the front door of the business. The complainant is not sure what was taken.
• On Sunday, at 10:12 p.m., officers responded to an address on Kings Drive for a report of a stolen vehicle. The owner stated someone stole her 2011 Lincoln MKZ.
• On Sunday, at 11:40 p.m., officers responded to an address on Kings Drive in reference to a burglary. The resident stated that two Phillips 43-inch flat-screen televisions valued at $268 each and a Hisense flat-screen television valued at $250 were taken.
