Graveside services for Pinkye Elizabeth Stewart will be held Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, at 2 p.m. with Father Joseph Chau Nguyen officiating. A rosary service will be held at 1 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with graveside services immediately following.

Pinky E. Stewart passed away Monday, Sept. 14, 2020, in her home following a lengthy illness. She was 81. She was a retired RN operating room nurse and member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents William James and Eddie Hazel Brooks Stewart.

She is survived by her two sons, Paul Stewart of Vicksburg, and Larry (Janita) Stewart of Jackson; and daughter, Rosa Thomas of Vicksburg; two brothers Lynn of Fort Worth, Texas, and Charles Stewart of San Francisco, Calif; and sister, Mary Kimbrough of Houston, Texas; and one grandchild.
