Vicksburg’s Water and Gas Administration office on Drummond Street is closed because of a power outage affecting the surrounding neighborhood, said Mayor George Flaggs Jr.

The office collects payments for utility bills. Flaggs said the outage occurred after a transformer blew and Entergy is in the process of making repairs.
