The first round of the Mississippi Youth Bowl Championship Series will be played Saturday at Vicksburg High School’s Memorial Stadium, beginning at 9 a.m. The MYBCS is a three-week series of tournaments that will conclude Dec. 16 in Jackson, and gathers league champions from around Mississippi and Louisiana.

The Port Gibson Titans, champions of the Jackson Freedom League’s C-Team division, will play the first game of the tournament against the Canton Jaguars of the Mississippi Youth Athletics Alliance. Other games will continue throughout the day, with the last one kicking off at approximately 4 p.m.
Admission to the tournament is $10, and wristbands will be provided for re-entry. Children age 5 and under get in free. Fans are not allowed to bring in outside food or drink.
