13 score 30-plus on ACT at Vicksburg Catholic School

A total of 13 seniors joined the 30+ ACT Club at Vicksburg Catholic School (VCS), officials announced Thursday.
The 13 seniors each scored at least a 30-point composite on the standardized test, which is the pre- dominant tool in the U.S. for assessing high school students’ college readiness. The highest one can score on the ACT is 36.
According to VCS officials, more than 34 percent of its seniors scored a 30 or more on the test, ranking them in the 94 percentile nationally.
VCS students scoring 30 or above on this year’s test include: Addison Averett; Jon Daniel Busby; Katelyn Clark; Nancy Clement; Steven Clement; Connor Johnston; Sarah Beth Johnston; Walker Lambiotte; Luke Larson; Sawyer McCain; Grace Sams; Clara Smith; and Grace Windham.
