Vicksburg native Ann Wallace DeRossette was one of 120 students who were nominated for Who’s Who at the University of Southern Mississippi.

DeRossette is a senior public relations and advertising student at Southern Miss. She also works with prospective students as well as interns at the Hattiesburg Convention Commission.

“It means the world to me that someone at USM believes that I have done my part to leave Southern Miss better than I found it,” DeRossette said. “On every tour I give, I tell the prospective students that if you give a little to Southern Miss, it will give back to you in amounts larger than you could ever imagine.”

DeRossette will be recognized and receive her certificate at the Student Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, March 27, at Bennett Hall.
