A Jackson man was in court in Vicksburg Friday after a traffic stop led to his arrest on drug-related charges.

According to information from Vicksburg Police Department (VPD), 25-year-old Jeremiah Clark was arrested Wednesday following a traffic stop for reckless driving on Highway 61 South.

A search of his vehicle disclosed more than 12 ounces of marijuana inside, VPD said.

Clark was charged with felony possession of marijuana. He appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court Friday and received a $35,000 bond from Judge Penny Lawson. Clark was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
