Vicksburg Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in an ongoing investigation after shots were reportedly fired Friday night on Meadowvale Drive.

“At about 9:20 p.m., officers with the Vicksburg Police Department responded to the 300 block of Meadowvale Drive in reference to a shots fired call,” Sgt. Jerrold Hayes said. “Upon the arrival of officers, multiple residences and a vehicle were reported to have received damage due to gunfire. Several spent shell casings consistent with different caliber weapons were processed and collected from the scene. At this time, there have been no injuries reported and this remains an open and active investigation.”
