Run for the Wall passes through Vicksburg

Run for the Wall, the annual motorcycle ride spanning from California to D.C. passed through Vicksburg Monday.

Following a brief pause at the Love’s Travel Stop in Tallulah, hundreds of riders waved to onlookers as they passed through the River City on their way to the Vietnam Memorial Wall in the nation’s Capitol.

The annual cross-country “run” is done to honor veterans of the United States armed services, raise awareness for missing soldiers and facilitate the healing of soldiers.
