At the end of each high school sports season, The Vicksburg Post honors Warren County’s best athletes in a number of sports with its All-County teams.

The 2024 All-County track and team features 29 of the area’s top athletes from Warren Central, Vicksburg High, St. Aloysius and Porter’s Chapel Academy. All of them reached the state meet in their respective classifications in the MHSAA and MAIS, and eight won state championships.

The All-County girls’ team is led by Vicksburg High senior sprinter Shaniyah Walker. The Hinds Community College signee won two MHSAA Class 6A championships, in the 400 meters and 4×200 meter relay. She clocked a season-best time of 57.41 seconds in the 400.
