Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson on Tuesday announced the 165th Mississippi State Fair will be held Thursday, October 3, through Sunday, October 13, at the Mississippi State Fairgrounds in Jackson.

For the first time in the fair’s history, fairgoers can purchase their tickets online ahead of the 2024 State Fair.

Visitors to the annual Mississippi State Fair can purchase general admission tickets and fair ride wristbands online for the first time in the fair’s history.

Pre-sale tickets are available now through October 2 at www.msstatefair.com for $8 per person.

Online tickets purchased after October 2, as well as tickets purchased at the gates, will be $10 per person.
