St. Aloysius’ volleyball team took a break from its summer practice schedule this week to host a youth camp.
The camp, for children in grades 1-7, was designed to introduce players to the game by focusing on fundamentals and basic skills. Coaches Allison McSherry and Danielle Bergeron, as well as St. Al’s players, offered tips and worked alongside the young campers.
The camp began Monday and will conclude Thursday morning.
St. Aloysius’ 2024 varsity volleyball season, its second in school history, will begin Aug. 8 against Warren Central.
