Deedra Elaine Sims, a Vicksburg resident, passed away Monday, June 24, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center following a lengthy illness.  She was 48.
She had worked as an engineer for the Corps of Engineers and was a member of the Spring Hill M B Church.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete with W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge.
