South Alabama offensive lineman Reed Buys, a Warren Central alum, was named to the preseason All-Sun Belt Conference team by Athlon Sports.

Buys played in 12 games last season and started nine at right guard to help the Jaguars to a 7-6 record. He was also named to the 2024 NFF Hampshire Honor Society for outstanding academic achievement.

South Alabama opens the 2024 season on Aug. 31 against North Texas, at home in Mobile.
