The Vicksburg Kiwanis Club contributed $1,000 toward the Vicksburg YMCA delegation’s yearly trip to the Blue Ridge Christian Values Conference.

YMCA will have 59 attendees at the Blue Ridge Christian Values Conference next week. This will be the largest group in attendance for Vicksburg’s YMCA.

The conference is based on non-denominational Christian values and there is a devotion session twice a day. Attendees learn together in family groups that include kids from different locations.

“Life gets busy, but the conference is a week to get away from all of that,” said Grace Windham, who will be attending the conference for her third year.

Windham will also lead the Vicksburg YMCA delegation.
