Copiah-Lincoln Community College football player Brandon Gilliam, a Warren Central alum, was selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District College Division team.

Gilliam, a kicker, has signed with Alabama State.

Gilliam made 16 of 24 field goal attempts for Co-Lin last season, with a long of 44 yards, and was 38-for-39 on PATs. He also averaged 33.2 yards on 45 punts.
