Vicksburg-Warren School District athletics director James Lewis was elected to the Mississippi Association of Coaches Board of Directors for Class 5A and 6A District VI.

In the role, Lewis will represent the district on a statewide level and handle administrative duties at the MAC state all-star games.

Lewis, a Warren Central alum and former basketball coach at the school, has been the VWSD’s athletics director since August 2022.
