Tallulah Academy names new headmaster

Tallulah native Keith Adams has been named the headmaster at Tallulah Academy (TA) ahead of the 2024-25 school year.
Adams is a graduate of Tallulah High School and earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Northeast Louisiana University, now the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Most recently, Adams served as president and CEO of the Central Louisiana Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization promoting charitable giving and located in Alexandria, where he raised approximately $7 million and managed the $34 million operation.
“With over 20 years in the nonprofit sector, Keith has a strong background in board development, fundraising, and organizational leadership,” TA officials said in a statement announcing his hiring. “He has worked extensively as a consultant and held executive positions with notable organizations such as the Boy Scouts of America, Salvation Army, and Louisiana Delta Community College.”
Adams and wife Christine have three children, ages 24, 21 and 12.
In addition to his professional achievements, Adams is also an Eagle Scout and a veteran of the U.S. armed forces.
“Keith’s personal life reflects his commitment to service and family,” TA officials said. “Embodying values of leadership, dedication and community involvement.”
