Barbara J. Ingle

Barbara J. Ingle died Wednesday, July 25. She was 92 years old.

Ingle was born in Illinois, but she was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg. Ingle was the daughter of the late Elva J. Trammell and Artie Belle Trammell. She was married to the late Wallace R. Ingle Sr. for 67 years. She was a licensed practical nurse and worked for 54 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Vicksburg. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Reed Ingle (Connie) of Grand Junction, Colo.; two daughters, Robin Trahan (Kenneth) and Renee Norris (Randy) of Vicksburg; six grandchildren, Amanda Hager (Joe), Chanler Ingle (Wendi), Logan Parker, Caray Williams (Timothy), Colton Norris (Jillian) and Cortlyn Bardwell (David); three great-granddaughters, Ashlyn Spendrup, Bryer Ingle and Callie Parker; two great-grandsons, Timber Ingle and James “JT” Norris; two sisters, Dee Hyland and Shirley Griffin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Pat Cagle and Sandra Ford.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service Friday, August 2, at Fisher Riles Funeral Home on Indiana Ave.

The service will be at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Steven Paul Keen officiating.

The burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Children’s of Mississippi Hospital, 2500 North State St., Jackson, MS 39216.

Pallbearers will be Colton Norris, Timothy Williams, David Bardwell, Logan Parker, Zach Smith and Chanler Ingle.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers, Lois, Jessi, Jeanine, Haley and the staff at St. Joseph Hospice and Vicksburg Convalescent Center for their care and support.
