A Vicksburg man charged with burglary made his initial court appearance Monday in Vicksburg.

According to information from Vicksburg Police Department (VPD), 37-year-old Anthony Scott was arrested Saturday after he was seen allegedly entering a home in the 1300 block of Bowmar Avenue while the homeowner was not on the premises.

Inside the home, officers made contact with Scott, who was then arrested and charged with residential burglary, VPD officials said.

Appearing before Judge Angela Carpenter in Vicksburg Municipal Court Monday, Scott received a $25,000 bond and was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
