The most recent recipient of the Vicksburg-Warren County Chamber of Commerce’s You Caught My Eye campaign has been revealed. Vicksburg Walmart employee Ladonna Burks was nominated for the distinction by Ruby Green and was notified of her recognition Friday by chamber of commerce ambassadors and officials.

The You Caught My Eye campaign acknowledges those in the community who provide excellent customer service or go out of their way to assist other citizens or visitors.

“Your commitment to delivering outstanding service was noticed and appreciated,” Vicksburg-Warren County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Pablo Diaz told Burks in an official congratulatory message. “In gratitude of your excellent hospitality, we will display your name on the Chamber of Commerce’s marquee the week of August 12 through August 19.”

Chamber officials said nominations for You Caught My Eye can come from anyone at any time, so locals should be aware someone might be watching them at all times, but in a good way.
