Who’s Hot: Faith Kivett

Softball player Faith Kivett, a Tallulah Academy alum, announced she has transferred to Southern Miss.

Kivett played last season at Southeastern Louisiana. She appeared in 41 games, mostly as a pinch-runner and defensive substitute. She was 4-for-10 with one double and two RBIs, and scored 13 runs.

Before going to Southeastern, Kivett played two seasons at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. The utility player batted .387 in 108 games with the Lady Wolves and helped them win the NJCAA Division II national championship in 2023. Kivett was an All-MACCC selection in both 2022 and 2023.

Kivett also earned All-MAIS honors in softball at Tallulah Academy; won a Class 1A championship in the 100 meters in track and field; and played for Tallulah’s basketball team.
